Congratulations to Craig Cobb (MFA  95)  who is now Editor for “Odd Mom Out” at Bravo TV! One of our students just made me aware that there is a new IMDB-like site for music:   IMVDB   It includes information about the crews and production companies.  From Michael Wang (BFA 06)  “Matt Koch (BFA  06)   and Michael Wang are still an item; working feverishly together in the sunny island of Singapore. Our latest collaboration was 3 Pictures (2013) which stars a well-known Chinese actress Huang Lu of Blind Mountain fame. It should be noted that Singapore is not part of China and never has been. The film is scored by Alex Davis, who is also an FSU alumni. The film also features Michael's children - Liam and Myra -- for all my old friends who have yet to get a glimpse of them. Enjoy.  http://vimeo.com/76797462   If anyone is passing by Singapore, please let us know!LA Fotografa has done a great interview with Jackie Oster Rodman (MFA 99) – check it out here:  http://www.brittanierenoj.com/2014/11/la-fotografa-profiles-jackie-rodman.html#.VGYeF6W0Jg1 From Oliver Pearce (BFA  97)  “We are in need of an AVID editor here at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio. The other partners shook their heads and said, “Honestly, friend, that simply will not do! We are a creative company! We do games, and film, and video, and post! We don’t do cream soda!” Hopelessly surrounded and unarmed, I had no choice but to relent. Now, however, they’ve asked me to write the ad for our intern. It’s an unpaid position, but you’ll get to help me take those bastards down, from the inside. So here’s what we’re gonna do: we’re gonna produce video. We’re gonna edit it. We’re gonna do graphics and marketing. We’re gonna go find clients and stay in business! Then, when nobody’s watching, we are going to scheme like there’s no tomorrow. There’s only two ways this can go: One, we make this company successful beyond anyone’s wildest dreams; Two, we totally dismantle it and dance on the shards! Either way, it’s a win-win situation, with both wins going to you, Intern!”   NOTE:  If you are interested in this internship, email me and I’ll send you complete information.    FSU CMPA Screenings & Awards Update – November 13, 2014 Monster (MFA D2 2013 Noah Camenker) was awarded Best Student Film at the International Family Film Festival in Hollywood, November 7-9.
